Direct seeding is
the practice of planting the acorns, walnuts and other tree seeds directly
into the ground to establish a new stand of trees. There are several
reasons to choose direct seeding instead of planting trees. They are;
more trees per acre, no transplant shock, seed is collected from a local
source, and establishment costs are less. Our forester will procure
tree seed and plant the seed with our specially developed equipment.
